The ERP Master Data Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring complete and accurate data is maintained in SAP for all products manufactured at our Central Kitchen in the Bronx, NY. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless production processes, inventory management, and supply chain efficiency by being the point contact for validating and maintaining BOMs, routing, and overall master data for the production team. The ideal candidate will recognize the critical value of ensuring consistent execution of tasks while striving for continuous improvement.

 

What would I be doing?

  • Responsible for creating, validating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs), Routings, Master Data, Recipes, and Cost Centers in SAP with focus on proper set ups when creating/updating products and processes to the facility
  • Manage the Data Integrity team to ensure that labels, descriptions, allergens, ingredients, and nutritional information are accurate
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure all SAP data is complete and accurate, ensuring timely execution
  • Involve enabling the development and optimization of product structures as new items are introduced to the facility
  • Work closely with Finance to perform initial cost rolls and define, implement, and maintain required controls
  • Your leadership will be crucial in optimizing and maximizing the utilization of SAP and other enterprise systems
  • Communicate effectively with other team members to promote a safe, positive, and productive working environment
  • Identify opportunities for improvements, waste reduction and increased productivity

What would make me qualified?

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of in-depth supply chain experience and application of Enterprise Resource Planning, preferably SAP, (inventory and production planning functions), building, planning, and scheduling principles, master data, concepts, practices, and standards
  • Experience with Lean Sigma or other operational excellence methodologies is strongly preferred
  • Ability to proactively anticipate potential issues and conflicts and determine options for resolution
  • Escalates to functional management in a clear and concise manner
  • Must be organized, possess time management skills, can deal with ambiguity, and be able to manage changing priorities
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills to be able to provide timely feedback and communicate appropriately with other departments
  • Experience in a similar role within the food production/manufacturing industry would be advantageous
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office applications
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Dependability with flexibility to work over-time as needed to support business needs
