Reporting to the Sr. Director of Finance, this position will act as the link between finance and management, acting as a trusted advisor and providing valuable analysis and insights to influence decision-making. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for month end close activities including financial variance analysis, collaborating with accounting team, management reporting, and forecasting.

This role requires building relationships with internal operational partners and providing analysis and delivering insights that link financial reports to business strategies.

What would I be doing?

  • Participate in the month-end close and variance analysis
  • Prepare monthly variance report summaries for management
  • Provide guidance and support on journal entries
  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators such as productivity, cost per metrics, and performance to budget
  • Complete variance analysis of business performance and comparative monthly, quarterly and year to date results.
  • Maintain & enhance accurate financial reporting for the Division and Regions.
  • Review existing processes and procedures to develop and implement recommendations for improvements.
  • Be a subject matter expert within department on customer master activities
  • Create and manage internal reporting dashboards

  • Flexibility to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.

Qualifications:

 

  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent field
  • A minimum of 5 years FP&A, Accounting or Operations experience
  • Both Finance and General Accounting knowledge are required as well as effective organization, planning and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to successfully operate with minimal supervision
  • Strong proficiency with Excel, as well as proficiency with other Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
