Overview

We are seeking a strategic, business-minded Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead the company’s FP&A function. This leader will oversee a team of senior finance leaders while driving enterprise-wide planning, forecasting, budgeting, headcount management, performance reporting, and financial decision support.

As a key member of the Finance leadership team, you’ll partner closely with executive leaders across the business to translate strategy into financial plans, provide actionable insights, and ensure disciplined financial management. This role is responsible for creating a scalable FP&A organization that delivers accurate forecasts, meaningful analytics, and trusted partnership to the business.

What would I be doing?

What You’ll Actually Do

  • Lead and develop a high-performing FP&A organization, including senior financial leaders responsible for financial planning and support across the company.
  • Drive continuous development of the team including recruiting, coaching and building a bench of FP&A talent.
  • Own the company’s annual operating plan, long-range planning process, quarterly forecasts, and monthly financial outlooks.
  • Act as the central liaison between the two business units within the company, responsible for consolidating business unit budgets, forecasts, headcount plans, and investment priorities into a cohesive enterprise financial plan.
  • Operate as the primary financial point of contact for New Mountain Capital, performing recurring and ad-hoc request as needed.
  • Own core activities associated with PE ownership including being responsible for board deck prep, lender/PE reporting packages, and M&A/diligence support.
  • Partner with executive leadership to evaluate business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Support leadership on board materials, operating reviews, and presentations related to financial performance and business outlook.
  • Lead monthly business reviews for shared functions outside of the two business units, providing budget-to-actual analysis, forecasting updates, key performance indicators, and actionable recommendations.
  • Oversee financial reporting and KPI development across the organization, ensuring leaders have timely, accurate, and actionable insights.
  • Partner closely with Accounting to ensure accurate monthly close results, forecast integrity, and alignment between actual results and financial plans.
  • Own the Anaplan/NetSuite planning platform roadmap and data architecture and champion continuous improvement in FP&A systems, reporting tools, automation, and data quality.
  • Improve financial planning processes, reporting capabilities, and governance to increase accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Oversee commission forecasting, accruals, and financial governance while partnering with Sales Operations to ensure sales compensation plans are accurately modeled, administered, and reported.
  • Partner with Sales Operations to optimize Salesforce financial reporting, pipeline analytics, bookings forecasts, and revenue conversion metrics.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities, resource allocation, and strategic initiatives through financial modeling and scenario analysis.
  • Represent Finance on cross-functional initiatives and serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to Our Mission

The financial foundation:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years work experience in similar finance leadership position.
  • 10+ years progressive responsibility with demonstrated leadership abilities through work progression.

The technical expertise:

  • Experience with NetSuite and Anaplan platforms preferred.
  • Comfort using AI and automation tools to speed up financial analysis, modeling, and reporting — and a point of view on where they can drive efficiency across Wellbeing finance.
  • Experience producing results using varied media including MS Office formats and dashboard/visualization tools.

The leadership competencies:

  • Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team with ability to multitask and manage internal and external deadlines.
  • Strong ethical standards and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen for complex Wellbeing operational challenges.

The operational understanding:

  • Deep expertise in Wellbeing finance, pricing analytics, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Understanding of Wellbeing business models including member engagement economics and program delivery cost structures.
  • Experience in health, wellness, benefits, or healthcare SaaS — finance leadership in a subscription or platform-based business is a strong plus.
  • Ability to translate operational metrics into financial insights that drive business decisions.
