About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Vice President of Finance will serve as a strategic partner to the Company’s executive leadership team, playing a key role in shaping and executing their financial strategy to drive growth and operational excellence. This leader will bring a strong analytical mindset and deep business acumen, translating financial insights into actionable strategies that support enterprise-wide decision-making. The VP will oversee core areas of financial management, including P&L management, company-wide month-end reviews with executive team, long-term strategic initiatives and planning, and investor support.

The VP of Finance will lead and develop a high-performing finance team, implement scalable financial infrastructure, and support the CFO in capital planning, including potential future capital raise. This leader will collaborate closely with operations, clinical, and other key corporate teams to support financial integration, drive physician engagement & accountability, and drive top-line growth and margin expansion.

What would I be doing?

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the executive leadership team and Board to translate strategic growth priorities into actionable financial plans, KPIs, and reporting frameworks that support decision-making and performance transparency.
  • Drive long-range planning, scenario modeling, and corporate forecasting. Translate strategy into financial outcomes and actionable plans.
  • Lead and manage annual budget planning process end to end.
  • Build and scale financial operations infrastructure to support the organization’s rapid growth, with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, and monthly/quarterly financial reporting.
  • Establish financial discipline across acquired podiatry practices and new de novo sites by standardizing reporting, integrating financial controls, and supporting physician engagement and accountability.
  • Support capital raising efforts, Board reporting, and investor relations materials that communicate strategy, metrics, and company vision.
  • Partner with the executive team to evaluate M&A, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships, including due diligence and integration planning.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing finance team to meet the demands of a growing healthcare platform, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What would make me qualified?

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years in progressively responsible strategic finance, FP&A, corporate finance & strategy, investment banking, or private equity.
  • Exceptional modeling, forecasting, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strategic thinker who aligns the financial function with business goals and strategy; has deep experience running a winning finance function; able to build infrastructure around financial operations to keep pace with growth and enable future scale.
  • Experience with and a deep understanding of the financial complexities and best practices associated with physician practice management.
  • Successful track record in high-growth environments, ideally in PE-backed multi-site healthcare delivery businesses that have seen growth through acquisition; appetite for a high growth and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Prior experience developing and retaining high-performing finance teams; well-regarded as a leader of people and able to effectively collaborate with the company’s leadership team, investors, and Board of Directors.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
